This text tries to make comparison of the usages for reference from the commentaries, written by the Confucian scholars in the past dynasties, on the book of the Analects, at analysis and summary in the commentaries, re-examination the ideas of Heaven, the Mandate of Heaven, gods and ghosts of Confucius on the book of the Analects.The thesis is main divided into three parts: In the first part, the author investigates the idea of Heaven on the book of the Analects and reach the conclusion that Heaven within Confucius'speech is the Supreme Lord, who has a will and the power of rewords and punishments; In the second part, the author investigates the idea of the Mandate of Heaven on the book of the Analects. The Mandate of Heaven is the order of Heaven. Confucius'concept for the Mandate of Heaven is to devoutly believe in and the earnestly implementing; The final investigation of the ideas on the Analects is about gods and ghosts. Confucius objected to flatter gods and ghosts and to go beyond proper bounds of fate. The attitude of Confucius to gods and ghosts was similar and devoutly believing in them.The text draws to the conclusion: From the recordation of the Analects, Confucius did not only believe in Heaven and the Mandate of Heaven, and but also devoutly believed in gods and ghosts.
