How to correctly use synonymous verbs which contain single or double syllable synonymy is always a difficulty for foreign students in the learning Chinese. In the viewpoint of a foreign student, this article focus on the contrastive analysis of 67 pairs of double- syllable coordinative verbs which are limited within the HSK glossary, which are characterized of this category. The contrastive analysis also works on the single verbs which composing these coordinative verbs, from which it is found that the composing of these coordinative synonymous verbs is not resting.These synonymous coordinative verbs are synonymous with these composing single verbs, however, semantically, these verbs are not simple addition of the single verbs, but they are deflection, restrict or enlargement of them. Additionally, this article concerns the research of the conversing composing of these single synonymous verbs, as well as gives some suggestions to improve pedagogics in the teaching of Chinese as a second language. This article is divided into 5 parts, with the major pars from 2 to 4.Part 2 divides the 65 pairs of synonymous verbs semantically into 6 category, and explains them respectively.Part 3 is on the comparison of the 11 conversing double syllable synonymy verbs.Part 4 proposes in the teaching methods of Chinese language.This article bases on large corpus to research of each 2 single syllable synonymy verbs, differentiates these compositive double syllable synonymy verbs, and analyses the syntactical relationship between these 3 parts. We hope the research can promote humanization of the Chinese teaching to provide the real helps for the Chinese learners.
