A Study Of Synonymous Single-syllabic Verbs' Compare

In modern Chinese there are lots of differences between single-syllable and single-syllabic synonymous verb,but in China we are short of study about this aspect. This thesis on the grounds of concludes synonymous single-syllabic verbs' scope and concept.Lay stress on the difference about single-syllabic synonymous verbs' meaning,usage and so on.This thesis has four parts.The first part,introduce the background and purpose about this research.This part conclude what is single-syllabic synonymous verb.According to sign about word kinds and explain the meaning in the fifth edition's Modern Chinese Dictionary, through these two sides to conclude.And make 297 single-syllabic synonymous verbs which be chosen from 2001 edition's Chinese stander and Chinese word rank and fifth edition's Modern Chinese Dictionary.The second part begin to compare and classify single-syllabic synonymous verbs, it's divides into two parts,same meaning and similar meaning.The third part,synonymous single-syllabic verbs' usage compares.Close research 35 pairs single-syllabic synonymous verb which be chosen from 297 pairs near-synonyms.Research and describe the differences in function,it's including differences between transitive verb and intransitive verb,difference about with complement,difference about overlap,difference about with Chinese word "le", "zhe","guo";discuss the synonymous single-syllabic verbs' difference between style and dialect.The last part,to study how to change two synonymous single-syllabic verbs into one word with two syllables,and weather could contrary the words order.In our research we found there are 144 words could become compound word,and 7 pairs' words in there are contrary-words.Constitute synonymous contrary-word with same words.We do some researches about synonymous contrary-word's structure and gender,according to differences about synonymous contrary-word's structure and gender,we classical it into lots of kinds.Make some analysis on structure and function about these 7 pairs synonymous contrary-word.
