| This paper summarizes the phylogeny of English music and present all Elgar's life, field and style of his productions. The op.85 of Elgar is analyzed from angles of form texture, creation technique, character of incidental music, sensibilities expression through the means including comparison, character analysis, illustration, example, multimedia and so on. Finally, records from fourteen cellists is introduced and compared. Through intensively study, we attempt to find the path and essential of Elgar's cello concertos. |
