Recycling Government Dream

In the 1920s, facing the Northern Warlords'cruel government and Nongovernmentalism's becoming popular in intellectuals, Hushi, who was both deeply influenced by the traditional ideology of Confucianism and experienced profound feelings of Western bourgeois political civilization, made good efforts to advocate the "Good Governmentalism". This idea was based on Hu's pragmatic conception of politics. Its main idea was to set up a good government which was constitutional, open and planned through efforts of elitist. As a liberal, their political ideas were based on the reform of social stability. However, China was in chaos then. Therefore, it was certain that Hushi's dream of creating another government by reforming suffered failure. But, the democracy, freedom, constitution, open and unity he aimed at and the measures he put forward for the disadvantages of politics of his day were of great significance.
