The Great Wall Anti-Japanese War in 1933 is a typical local Anti-Japanese War which is commanded by Chiang Kai-shek. Though we argue at the role of Chiang Kai-shek , the achievements have to be authorized. "Chiang Kai-shek and Great Wall Anti-Japanese War" is the study of the history of the Chinese War of Resistance against Japan, which is relatively weak topic. But we must realize the study is a highly valuable and practical academic topic. Therefore, the author intends to discuss the motive, the timing and outcome of the war as a superficial topic. To review the performance of the entire process in the war, we can objectively comment on the merits and demerits of Chiang Kai-shek in history.The paper includes the introduction, two chapters and a conclusion. The brief introduction describes the significance of this writing and the status quo of the current research such as the historical data, and so on. The chapter 1 states the historical background regarding with the dangerous situation on the Great Wall. Meanwhile, it focuses on the development of the Great Wall Anti-Japanese War, then discusses the ideological transformation of Chiang Kai-shek. It can be said that the chapter is the most important elements for the paper. The chapter II will analysis the reasons for the ideological changes of Chiang Kai-shek, and the paper objectively compares the Anti-Japanese attitudes of Chiang Kai-shek and Zhang Xueliang in the war. Closing remarks concisely makes a conclusion on this subject and its significance.The author re-evaluates Chiang Kai-shek's behavior on the basis of the previous research results, and achieves some reference and inspiration. When we evaluate a historical figure, we have to verify on the basis of the truth. However, the research still have some disadvantages due to various restrictions, so we must make more efforts.
