The Past 50 Years Of Bel Canto Teaching Literature

This paper takes the literatures concerning bel canto teaching and researching published since the founding of china as researching objects, combining quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis, to collect and arrange related materials published within more than 50 years, taking an attitude of"literature researching work goes first"and further to make some analysis in a comprehensive and systematic way, with the expectation of having an overall picture of the general developments of the related research conducted within more than 50 years.The whole paper divides the overall development of the literatures research concerning bel canto teaching and researching into three stages, with the dividing line of"Culture Revolution"——the period from the earlier founding of china to the pre-Culture Revolution, ten-year periods of Culture Revolution and the periods lasting from the ending of the Culture Revolution to the turn of 20th century. The first three chapters mainly summarize the related researching materials of these three stages, classifying all of them in a line with its contents including the teaching thoughts and guidelines; teaching contents; pedagogy; the teaching thoughts of the well-known vocal educators; curriculum; the research of both subjects and objects in teaching, in hope of making the general development of the literatures research concerning bel canto teaching and researching clearer to facilitate further research.The fourth chapter mainly deals with the commenting and analyzing of the related literatures within more than 50 years as of the founding of china, it is divided into two sections, the former one sums up the features embodied in the more-than-50 year researching practices of this field and also make the related analysis; the latter one gives the deep-rooted reasons related to these phenomenon, combining to the actual social backgrounds in terms of the literature thoughts guideline, the education system reform, the musical values etc.
