This article starts with debates between west and east,ancient and contemporary, which existing since the last country in the music field. Analyzed and interpreted the impacts of contemporary Environment, brought by the globalization, on the existing soil, which the Chinese traditional music depended on for thousands of years and thus the consideration caused by. On this basis, the thesis combined the realities of Chinese traditional music education in common high school and considered the orientation of the Chinese traditional music education in common high school music education. Aim at dissertating how to make the Chinese traditional music knowledge education and Chinese traditional culture teaching more effective, as well as how to spread and inherit our long and resplendent Chinese culture tradition.This article consists of five parts, including introduction, three main chapters and conclusion. At the end of this article are the literatures and addenda. The introduction mainly focused on the writing reasons and significance of this article, summarized the research reality in this particular field, demonstrated music research methods during the writing process and gave an overview about the conceptions of researching ideas. The main part would in three dimensions demonstrated, they are the description of the tradition and the reality of Chinese music , an investigation and analysis about the teaching reality of traditional music in three representative common high schools and the thinking and the co orientation of the Chinese traditional music in common high school respectively, aiming at find a more effective teaching orientation about the Chinese traditional music in common high education.The first chapter mainly dealed with the Tradition music in the concept and the traditional music in reality and the traditional music in common high school three levels, described the necessity of the further expansion of the connotation and extension about the Chinese traditional music, especially under the background of the influences, which impacted by diversified factors of the realities; analyzed the special significant roles ,which the common high school music teaching are playing, in learning,spreading and inheriting of Chinese traditional music and the achievements achieved by the traditional music education in the common high school.The second chapter Though analyzing the reality of the Chinese traditional music education in three common high schools and the recognizations from the students under this background. through the investigation, shortcomings of the Chinese traditional music education ,existing in the common high school had been raised; And thus, provided evidences for the writing of the third chapter.In the third chapter through thinking out the problems and carrying out teaching activities several countermeasures have been found out. From reorienting, the direction and selection of teaching contents,teaching methods and the roles, which should be played by music teachers etc had been also figured out. Combined with the college reality, propositions and methods would be raised in the hope to enrich the general theories and teaching methods of music education, and to obtain more effective teaching fruits.The conclusion part emphasis on the important roles, which the orientation of Chinese traditional music in college play in the cultivation of art quality, aesthetic qualities and the culture qualities of the college students, And thus the theoretical and social culture significance of this article would be further supplemented .
