In this thesis, there is a comprehensive research about the relations of Jin-xi warlord and Feng-xi warlord from 1924 to 1928. the trend of their relations emerge from joint to split .The evolution of their relations experienced three stages in during During the yearl927—1937. The first stage: before and after the second Zhi-feng war Jin-xi warlord and Feng-xi warlord cooperated twice. Yan xi-shan controlled Suiyuan except Shan xi. Zhang zuo-lin maintained the largest strength faction in the north shore of the Yellow River. The second stage: there was fissure in their relation when Yan xi-shan inclined to Kuomintang .The third stage : After the outbreak of Yan-feng war, Yan Feng relationship brokedown .Yan xi-shan joined the Kuomintang army and fought Feng -xi again. Zhang zuo-lin was killed in Huang gu -tun when he retreated. Yan xi-shan attained areas such as Beijing, Tianjin and so on and his forces reached its peak. The change of their relations affected the development of the political situation and the change of warlords' strength .
