Tan Liu Xue Three Art Songs, Creative Features And Singing Style

LiuXuean is one of the most popular musician in China in 20century. This article gives us an initial analysis about the creation and singing of LiuXuean's three art songs, not only from the aspect of creative theory and vocal techniques, but also from the aspect of practice .Synthesizing years'study, the author analyzes the writing features of these three songs on creative thoughts, theme, compose techniques and aesthesis values. Focused on the peculiarities of the three songs, the article shows some suggestions on skills of singing which included respiratory resonance, articulation, timbre, sound volume and so on. The author also stated several requirements of reconciling the singing to piano-playing, artistic behaviors, and the style of singing .The author attempts to grasp the features of Liu's art songs firmly, hoping to do some contributions to the vocal study and give some practical values to singing.Three parts are consisted in the article.The first part gives a brief introduction about Liu's music creation which includes his art career and his music creation. This part aims to make more people get familiar to LiuXue'an as well as his works.The second part step textually into the analysis of Liu's three art songs --- Red Bea , The Flower of Homelessness , Pursuing . .It should be said that the three songs are the essence of Liu's works . They are representative to research Liu's vocal music creation features from the aspects of compose techniques, melody and harmonization.The last part discusses these three songs from singing aspect. This discussion consists of singing techniques, enunciate, matching with the piano and emotion-controlling.
