Xianliang Novel Self-survival Art Presented

In Zhang Xianliang`s autobiographic novels, there is always a self-image according to the author`s own experience. In this thesis, it analyzes the self-image from the point of view of self-existence. In specific saying, it analyzes Zhang Xianliang`s autobiographic novels in the three parts of the psychoanalysis of self-existence, the formation of self- existence and the way of artistic expression of self- existence. In the first part, it analyzes the fission of subject personality by psychoanalysis. According to Freud`s theory, subject personality includes id, ego and superego. The three parts make the personality in a conflicting state by colliding and confronting. There is Oedipus complex in the novels. The author and his mother depended on each other for survival for many years. Then in the year of 1957, he was put into prison and forced to be departed from his mother just because he wrote a poem. He was just 21 that year. The author loved his mother and thirst for mother`s protecting. In novel BE USED TO DEATH, death instinct is showing cleanly. In the second part, it analyzes the painful existing formation in body and in spirits in realistic attitude. It describes the sufferings bring by hunger and libido. It also describes the character`s confusion, pursuing and disillusion in spirits. The character sticks to thinking the meaning of being when he was in very difficult position. He forms the fable of red carpet during ON CAPITAL`s reading. But after that, the fable of red carpet was broken; he realized that being had no meaning. It also discusses the dissimilation of human. In those days most of intellectuals were forced to give up under the pressure of grim politics. The third part is the way of artistic expression of self- existence. It analyzes the feature of Zhang Xianliang`s autobiographic novels. It shows the feature of autobiographic novels in the material`s collecting, the character`s creating and the depiction mode of inner visual angle.
