Rachmaninoff (1873-1943), is a well-known composer, conductor and pianist in Russia. Because of his great attainments in the area of compose, conduct and perform, he has a huge advantage in the understanding of music. Although most of Rachmaninoff's music acted in the 20th century, his music style is still belong to Romanticism in 19th-century, and he was considered as a later Romantic composers whose opuses are rare survival. Rachmaninoff has written a large number of melodies various in styles which are still well known today."Theme of Paganini Rhapsody" as in 1934, is one of his most important opuses, and also the greatest opus during his life. "Theme of Paganini Rhapsody" is drawn from the Paganini's "Violin Caprices 24" which use the first 24 Caprices the theme music, written in the single-movement piano and orchestra musicians, complex skills Deep, and strong momentum brilliant. The song contains the first 24 of the Paganini Violin Caprice in A Minor, the 24 variations.In this paper, the "Paganini Rhapsody theme of" exploration and research in the process of, through the composer's understanding of the background of the times, and the overall characteristics of the piano works of composer understanding and grasp of style, Attempt to analyzes the "Paganini Rhapsody theme of" creative characteristics and artistic characteristics.This thesis consists of three parts. The first part presents a brief introduction about how Rachmaninoff forms his own style of works and the background. He becomes famous when he was young. He achieved not only huge success, but also suffered fatal blow at his youthful age. He fled his mother country after middle-aged and died abroad, so that the style of his works was very tragic, full of national color, and romantic temperament. The second part focuses on Rachmaninoff's piano music. It analyzes the different characteristics in various periods, and introduces representative piano works of different period for a simple, including "Fantasia 6", "C Minor Piano Concerto No. 2", "D Minor Piano Concerto No. 3" and "Pictures Etudes," "Corelli Variations on a Theme." The third part of the "Paganini Rhapsody theme of" creative background and style features were analyzed and discussed, In particular, is the melody of the song features, and sound features, the intensity of change, Musical Structure of the four aspects of a more in-depth analysis.
