Modern Chinese Bandits Spiritual World Study

Based on history,sociology,folklore and social psychology,this article studies the inner world of the bandits ,who had actived in modern China. The article gives a multi-angle and multi-level discussion on the general situation of the inner world of the bandits.The article is composed of three chapters; in addition, it has the introduction and concluding remark. The first chapter focuses on analyzing the subjective reason why massive bandits take risks to gather in the greenwood, and analyzes these desperados'reconsidering and thought of their deal and outlet. In the second chapter, the author tries hard to reappear bandit's wearing and eating , plunder in the active atrocity and even their superstition, the taboo, the other daily behavior, and so on .attempting to find how it is thought in the bandits'inner world. The third chapter, this article through elaborating the bandit and the family, national and other political powers'relations analyzes the bandit and outside world of the bandit team's relations, elaborates bandit status in the family and the society, and reconsiders a center common erroneous zone of each kind of influence to solve the bandit problem since the late Qing dynasty ----the neglecting of the bandit's subjective motives and the demands.The bandit usually is regarded as a deconstruction strength, however their pursue to find survival opportunity actually is they biggest psychological demand. Though bandit's main member originates are the farmer from the countryside, they have abandoned the spiritual special characteristics: courteous and gentle, bearing hardships and standing hard work and enduring patiently. Many years'vagabonds'life practice causes them to change the original simple and honorable farmer and the pure handicraftsman's disposition, then they dare to take risks, simultaneously both retaining farmer's conservative nature and t increasing the city petty bourgeois's vulgarity. To solve the bandit problem, besides the extermination, political suppression and improvement of the rural economy much attention should paid to bandit's inner world.
