Java North Shore Chinese-style Batik

The Chinese style of Pasisir Batik is the important part of Pasisir Batik in Java. It stands not only for the distinct features of the culture of the north coast in Java, but also for brilliant symbol of the natural and social conditions of the north coast. This article is to present the image and culture of the Chinese style batik through the research and clarification of it, which can fulfill the gaps in certain fields of research in Java batik. Meanwhile, this article is exploring the approach to the development and application of the Chinese batik by combining different designing methods both at home and abroad, with related theory as the basis.
