The writing of children literature in the new period is a peak in the history of the Chinese children literature development. Exploration and studies of the writing of children literature in that period are of great significance for the development of the Chinese children literature. This thesis summarizes the trend of writing children's short stories in the new period in terms of the relation between the creation of children literature and children's role as a main pan, and in the aspects of sentimental experience, willpower and aesthetics, which are interwoven with man and literature. It expounds thoroughly and meticulously that in the creation of children's short stories of the new period are embodied equality in personality between children and adults, children regarded as the main part, whose psychological individuality development understood, respected and complied with. It also points out that in those children's short stories the view "literature intending to perfect the psychological individuality of children as human beings" has been put fonward which will be advocated as the law of the development of children literature.
