Jing County, Anhui Province, Traditional Crafts, Contemporary Heritage Study

Traditional handicraft is an important component part of the intangible cultural heritage. Although the traditional crafts in Jing County, Anhui Province, have a very long history and very special technologies, their development are extremely out of balance. The Xuan paper, a national treasure, has been handed down and developed very well. Some kinds of unknown crafts develop with serious difficulties; some of them even face the crisis of existence.Using the research methods of fields investigation and documents retrieval,this thesis inquires into the inheritance, the reservation and the state of development of the traditional crafts in Jing County through the analysis and research of the historical model and the present situation of their inheritance and development, the reservation and innovation of the technological property rights, the relationship among the cultural heritage reservation, the market exploitation and the brand reconstruction. The thesis wants to sum up some experiences and lessons of the development and reservation of traditional crafts in Jing County, contribute some kind of reference and experience for the development of crafts in other regions and give a regular support to the reservation of the intangible cultural heritage in today's China.
