Yun Fan Poetry

Fan Yun, one of"Jingling Eight Friends", was an important poet during Yongming times. He had high and powerful position and made friends broadly undergoing three dynasties:Song, Qi and Liang. At the same time, he was also an important participant of"Yongming Style"poetry. The theme of his poetry was rich, which accorded with the features of"Yongming Style"completely. His poetic style was graceful, rustic, fresh and natural. Zhong Rong had such judgment in Poetry appraisement as"Fan's poetry is fresh and connotative, like flowing wind and fluttering snowflake ."This paper is divided into five chapters to hackle and analyze Fan Yun and his poetry comprehensively:The first chapter unscrambles his life from three angles: official experience of rising steeply, Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism's impact on his ideology and style of poetry, the activities of making friends throughout the government and the public for his life and poetry composition.The second chapter examines the literature time striving for the change and innovation, which is set by placing Fan Yun under the literary background of Nanqi dynasty, and inquires into FanYun's life experience in the Jingling group as well as the literature ideological trend to his composition.The third chapter proceeds from the ideological content of his poetry, with an emphasis on the Fan's poetry composition in a variety of topics. This chapter divides his poetry into six kinds to read and analyze.The fourth chapter mainly summaries the artistic feature of Fan's poetry. FanYun proposed the poetry concept of neutralisation as early as in the Nanqi dynasty. His poetry accordes with the features of"Yongming Style"completely and has the style of fresh and connotative.The fifth chapter narrates FanYun and his poetry's status and influence in the history of literature. Compared FanYun with the poets at that time, we can see the difference about the poetic style. FanYun and his affair and poetry have the pround influence for posterity.
