The hypothesis conjunction and the condition conjunction have the common logical semantic foundation. In other words, all of them can express some kind of condition. Therefore they can be combined as one kind of conjunction. This paper called them "The hypothesis-condition conjunction".The hypothesis-condition conjunction is one of difficult key points for foreign learners. Compared with the native speakers of Chinese, the foreign learners use some common hypothesis-condition conjunctions excessively, but other hypothesis-condition conjunctions insufficiently. Therefore, error analysis and acquisition research will be advantageous to the teaching Chinese as a second language. This paper has been clear about area of the hypothesis-condition conjunction, described hypothesis-condition conjunctions systematically and explained hypothesis-condition conjunctions' essential usages briefly. Combined the research results of the hypothesis-condition conjunction and based on statistics of the beginning-intermediate level's foreign learner corpus and the high level's foreign learner corpus, the paper has described to use condition for foreign learners, analyzed error types and discovered reasons for errors. Contrasted with two levels of foreign learners' conditions, it can be discovered that use frequency of beginning-intermediate level's foreign learners is lower than the high level's foreign learners'. Contrasted foreign learners' condition with the native speakers' condition, it can be discovered that foreign learners didn't use all of hypothesis-condition conjunctions. For some hypothesis-conditions which the native speakers use frequently, foreign learners used them seldom. The above phenomena showed that evasion phenomena have existed when foreign learners used hypothesis-condition conjunctions. The paper has summarized evasion types, and explained the producible reasons of evasion. Combined with analysis, the paper has given a further research on acquisition and divided hypothesis-condition conjunctions into five levels. Finally the paper has reviewed the grammatical setting about the hypothesis-condition conjunctions in teaching outline, the HSK outline and teaching materials.
