The Development Of Realistic Oil Painting In The New China

The thesis assesses the origin, intension and extension of the concept of realism. It lays emphasis on each development of realism oil painting in different periods in new China. It includes the found of the country period ,the great cultural revolution period,the interim of great cultural revolution period,the 85 new art trend period, the new reform period.It stress on the realism spirit, the manifest of it in each period and its trend in the future. With the present situation of China oil painting and influence of eastern modern art, it put forward viewpoint and opinion of advocating realism.This thesis focuses on origin of realism oil paintings in the development of New China, the spirit of reality and this embodiment of spirit in all works in different periods , as well as the spirit of this reality of oil painting in the next direction.Research: 1,describe the concept of realism 2,outline the status of oil painting in China 3,narrate the general situation of oil painting in Europe and Russia 4,focus on embodiment of the spirit of realism in the reality of China in (1978-1984) period (reproduction of the real life), (the middle of 1980s - the end of 1980s) period, (ideal for real), (the 1990s -) period (digestion of true moment), 5,look for the weak link in contemporary reality of oil painting, and look to the future.
