The purpose of this paper is to study the love view of women from the folk songs of Southern Dynasties. This topic plays an important role in the study of the Southern Dynasties social life and cultural life. At the same time, the folk songs of the Southern Dynasties can be studied widely.This paper is divided into three main parts.The first part is the love view of women in the Southern Dynasties from the external form of folk songs. This section is divided into three aspects: one is the prototype imago, which mainly discusses willow, water and moon. They repose the feelings of love on the rich symbolic imagery, and they express their inner feelings politely. The second aspect is partial tone and pun, which is the most commonly used in the folk songs of Southern Dynasties. The use of the prototype imago and partial tone and pun express mainly connotation and circumbendibus in the love view of the folk songs of Southern Dynasties. The third aspect is the form of singing. After careful combing of these short poems, we can found some rules of them. These little poems can separate into poetry, can also put several poems together to form special way. There are four modes to sum up: Zengda, monologue, refrain and suite of songs. Although these modes are few and scattered in the folk songs of Southern Dynasties, they can also reflect a part of the love view. This aspect of this paper can be regarded as the innovation, especially refrain and suite of songs. It is less studied in previous.The second part is the love view of women in the Southern Dynasties from the principal part of the status. There are many women tones in the Southern Dynasties, but according to the status of women, it can generally be divided into three types: businesswoman, countryside women, prostitutes and girls. There are differences between women of different status. As married women, businesswoman and countryside women are more pragmatic and less romantic, and there are more constraints from feudal rubricity to them, so their love view is waiting passively and faithful. There is less constraints for prostitutes, and their mind is open and confident oppositely. Their love view is confident and direct. The girls are first awakening of love, so their love view is more simple and romantic and in the different stages, they have different love view. Although the different statuses of women have a different concept of love, but as living at the same time, there must be similar to their ideas and concepts, and the same should be greater than the differences. Therefore, this part of this paper is not the way to compare the study, but the more comprehensive perspective of the exploration and summarized the involved love view of women from the folk songs of Southern Dynasties.The third part is the difference of the love view of women between the Southern Dynasties and the Northern Dynasties. Although the Southern Dynasties and the Northern Dynasties are in the same era, but one is in south and the other one is in north in area. Coupled with the reasons of social situation, the preferences of rulers, cultural traditions, the character of people and ideas and so on, there are many differences in several aspects of the content, style, performance practices and language forms. Through the two comparisons, the love view of the Southern Dynasties women is more prominent and more features. In fact, as the songs about love, regardless of the north or the south, there are some common. Regardless of the Southern Dynasties or the Northern Dynasties, their songs are often innocent and pure and simple boldly, with the pursuit of better things, the sincere feelings of longing, the desire of happiness and joy. The main difference is that the love view of women from the folk songs of Southern Dynasties is very complex, and it can be considered a combination of three pairs of contradictions. And the love view of women from the folk songs of Northern Dynasties is relatively simple. It mainly expresses the love view of confident and direct, searching actively, doubt and desistence. Compared to Southern Dynasties, it is a single line.Through the above three parts of the analysis, the love view of women from the folk songs of Southern Dynasties can be summarized basically: it is very involved and paradoxical, and it express: confident and direct, but connotation and circumbendibus; searching actively but waiting passively; suspicious and defiance, but faithful and concentrated.
