DuYi has been writen on the occasion between the Ming and Qing Dynasties. This book is a fine piece of scholarship which contains the author Wang Sishi's great efforts during 37 years' study of DuFu' Poems. And it has a very important position in history. As a result, DuYi provided many precious materials and methods which can be learned by other scholars. It broke the deadlock of scholarly research about DuFu's Poems which existed for many years. In this book, the author criticized the problem which existed in the methods used during Song Dynasty. And he also criticized the far-fetched interpretations of DuFu's Poems during Ming Dynasty. What the author concernde are the Real Disposition and Grand Realm of DuFu including in the poems. As a result of that, the author had got brilliant achievements that transcended the others. The Guiding Ideology of DuYi is by using Text Interpretation to recover the original intentions of DuFu's Poems. The concrete methods of annotation which the author chosen were reader's interpretation against writer's, Mutual Confirmation between poems and histury, and the Confirmations between different Psalms. The most important one in these methods is reader's interpretation against writer's which proposed by Mencius. Because of the important position in history, the study about DuYi has great theoretical and realistic significance.This paper includes two aspects of DuYi. First of all, we try to find out the ideological roots of the understanding of DuFu' Poems in DuYi from some subjective factors including the life experience, aesthetic View, literary view of the author Wang Sishi. Secondly, we start with the way Wang Sishi used in studying DuYi, and then analysis the content features and styles of DuYi. We try to explore the artistry and academic nature of DuYi from the view of methodology.Through the two aspects of research, we try to understand DuYi and the Wang Sishi's concept of DuFu' Poems deeply and completely.Since DuYi was finished in the later years of Wang Sishi, it embodied distinctive characteristics of the author. The contents of DuYi manifest the author's pursuit of purport and feeling of DuFu's Poems. However, the styles of DuYi show the characteristics of divergence and multiple directivities.The formation of these characteristics has two aspects. First of all, the author inherited the aesthetic view and literary view of Confucianism Culture. And as a result of that, his admiring and belief of Confucian View of Political Literature which contained in DuFu's Poems make the book different. Secondly, these characteristics also originated from the comprehensive use of these methods such as reader's interpretation against writer's, Mutual Confirmation between poems and histury, and the Confirmations between different Psalms. Besides, in the special social environment, the activity of Wang Sishi studying and explaining DuFu' Poems is a kind of self-relief because of the inner depression when his ideal was shattered. So the interpretational way full of distinct personal characteristics and the author's style full of emotional resonance is DuYi's significant characteristics. The subjective way of interpretation brought some problems, but also made imposing merit.
