During the Chinese teaching for overseas students and the researching of Chinese teaching, many phenomena and results of research show that the pronunciation errors made by overseas students contain characteristics of countries. Special teaching methodologies targeted on students from a certain country will affect the second language acquisition of those students a lot.The thesis, based on the study of predecessors, contrasts the phonetic system of Chinese with that of German in the way of contrastive analysis. Then the pronunciation errors of German students are analysed in order to find out the regulation. At end, the teaching advice is given according to the results of the analyses.In Chapter One, the background of the research is introduced; in Chapter Two, the phonetic system of Chinese and that of German is contrasted; in Chapter Three, possible pronunciation errors of German students are predicted according to the analyses of Chapter Two; in Chapter Four, main pronunciation errors of German students are analyses according to the result of the test given; in Chapter Five, teaching advice is provided according to the results of the analyses; in Chapter Six, the conclusion of the thesis is given.According to the conclusion of the thesis, the most difficult Chinese vowels to German students are [y], [?], [?], [?] and the distribution conditions of allophones of phoneme /a/; the most difficult Chinese consonants to German students are [x], [t??], [?] and [t??]; as for the tones of single syllables, the third tone is the most difficult one to German students. Besides, there are some problems with semivowels and the spelling of Chinese pinyin as well.
