Nostalgia has become an important cultural event in society since the middle and late 20 century .In 1990s ,many facets of social culture in China demonstrates a tendency of nostalgia ,as evidenced in pop songs ,proses ,novels ,clothing ,dinning and so on .While we are convinced that nostalgia is only accessible to those who boast rich experience, having braved a life full of ups and downs and tasted various kinds of pain or those mature yet anxious adults, the"Post 80s"start a mass nostalgic campaign on Internet out of expectation. Along with the emergence of mass nostalgic campaign initiated by"Post 80s"comes people's different shades of opinions .Since 1990s,Nostalgia ,driving by consumption ,poses as a fad under the disguise of consumptions culture .Inevitably,we are surprised at the high profile and fussy nostalgic campaign carried out by young"Post 80s".Therefore ,a train of question marks prop up in people's mind : why nostalgia is such a phenomenon for"Post 80s"? What features does their nostalgia have? What attitude should be taken in this regard? I am absorbed in those questions. This dissertation begins with"Post 80s"and pinpoints a clear definition for"post 80s"as well as the nostalgia of"Post 80s".After that, the dissertation discusses comprehensively about causes and features of the nostalgia of"Post 80s".Focusing on two major themes—games and childhood ,the dissertation perceives the meaning of the nostalgia of"Post 80s"at a brand-new angle. Structure of the dissertation: Chapter 1 discusses in details about"Post 80s"and the nostalgia of"Post 80s";chapter 2 explains the causes and features of the nostalgia of"Post 80s";chapter 3 discusses the nostalgia of"Post 80s"in views of Game Theory; chapter 4 discusses nostalgia of"Post 80s"in terms of Theory of Childhood.
