Thoroughly recording of Manchu and the whole Qing Dynasty's society, history, literature, traditional customs, religious belief and ethnical relations, countless documents have formed during the three hundred years'ruling of Qing Dynasty. Finished in the years of Reign of Emperor Guang-Xu,"The Revised Companion of Function Word from Manchu", which is the paradigm book of Manchu Grammar due to its comprehensive contents and social influence, adopted a traditional method of explaining functional words in Manchu language. Based on analysing of this book, and from the linguistic and philology point of view, this paper demonstrates its significant influence systematically in the study of Manchu Grammar and Manchu Philology.
