Humboldt discovers the inherent attribute of harmony and unity of"language, nation and spirit", and further interprets the edifying function diffracted by the three elements of cultural politics. The processes that the scientific products of humanities coming in to being always contain the researcher's personal emotional factors and so does Humboldt's idea of cultural politics. His political expression can more or less be reflected among the various areas that he gets involved in. His research achievements contain the reflections of his personal emotion and political idea. The thesis aims at interpreting Humboldt's view of language in the aspect of cultural politics, considering the experience of personal emotion and many other principal factors. As the way of thinking and communicating in human society, the practicality of language is reflected everywhere in life. During the special period when the security of a nation is under threat and the sovereignty of a country is violated, the role of language will be undoubtedly more amplified. Language can convert into a kind of weapon that destroys the colonial regime and be a patron saint to protect the homeland of freedom. Taking Humboldt's interests in language research as the entry point of this article, combining his life experience of being involved in politics, and by interpreting Humboldt's cultural politics in language, this article further deducts the characteristics of mutual infiltration between language research and political ideals, and through which explores the politics and culture of our own nation.
