Design Sketch Teaching And Research

Since reform and opening up, China's society, economy and culture have gained long-term developments, and the education of art and design has also entered a period of reform and rapid development. With the in-depth conduction of the reform in art professional teaching and the influence of the western teaching modes about design and sketch education, a set of sketch teaching methods preliminarily suitable for our country's situation of art education has gradually come into being. Meanwhile, the term and concept of"design and sketch"have also been proposed. Currently, design and sketch has become an indispensable basic curriculum in the education of art and design. This curriculum aims not only to solve the problem of basic modeling, but also to facilitate the nurturing of creativity in art and design. However, to achieve real and perceived maturity in the curriculum of design and sketching, we must summarize and reflect on the gains and losses of its historical development and current situation, trying to explore the nature and development law of design and sketch and clarify different factors influencing its teaching development. This is of great importance to the curriculum and the development of the whole design education.Starting with the concept of sketch, this paper elaborates the forming foundation and background of design and sketch, the development of sketch teaching in the early education of art and design, and the formation and development of design and sketch. In this paper there also exist contents about the teaching practice and teaching materials of design and sketch. Apart from that, this paper also summarizes the experience and achievement of design and sketch development, analyzes the problems existing in the current design and sketch teaching, and proposes new subjects in design and sketch. The study of the problems in this paper aims to benefit the teaching of design and sketch and the development of the art and design education as a whole.
