This dissertation studies the meaning of music, mainly involving the following issues: What is the essence of the meaning of music? How does it exist? How is it produced and reflected? And how can it be comprehended and interpreted for effective music aesthetics? Or by what way does aesthetic body explain meaning of music?Facing above questions, this dissertation discusses by discussing meaning existence and what is the meaning of music and focuses the exploration of the meaning of music on the semantic sector by aiming to challengers of modern acoustic aesthetic theory and music practice to meaning of music by putting forward in reflection of meaning of music.With Jacques Derrida's philosophy of deconstruction as a major approach for investigation, this dissertation ends up with following conclusions by including music works under the conception of texts: The dissertation tries to research various problems of meaning of music by regarding philosophic thinking of deconstruction of Jacques Derrida and adding music work into text concept and following conclusion is as follows by detailed analysis of structure and presentation of many music texts and combination of exploration of various links of music practice activities:As an existing acoustic text, meaning of music work is demonstrated as the existence under deconstruction, and it is essentially a kind of continuous "supplementarity" phenomena; "Trace" is how it exists; "Dissemination" is it is produced; and "differance" is how it is reflected. Acoustic text realizes the infinite meaning generation possibility under open and multi-status so meaning of music has ambiguity characteristics.As for the diversified effects resulted from music being a kind of text, this dissertation believes that, when comprehending and interpreting the music texts, misinterpretation is unavoidable. However, reasonable and effective misinterpretation is necessary, as it can better realize the artistic value of the music texts in addition to enriching the meaning of music. Suitable misreading of meaning of music shall be a kind of creative explanation of aesthetic body by combination of free response item of imagination on basis of auditory sense impression.Additionally, this dissertation also briefly explores the relationship between contents and forms of music aesthetically, as well as the cultural value of the new music in the 20th century. The dissertation thinks that content and form of music text are two indivisible parts of the same matter and mutual relationship shall be autonomic and heteronomous at the same time. The two parties are combined into the music creation activity organically and cultural value of"New music"in the 20th century embodies regeneration after one kind of dissemination of previous traditional music culture and a bold creative creation examination under target premise of all kinds of exploration of modern outlet of traditional music culture to form a thorough and complete refreshing of traditional music culture.
