Enrique Granados﹙1867——1916﹚is one of the important representatives of Spanish national music in the end of 19th century and early 20th century. Goyescas, the suit of piano he created, is not only the peak works among all his works, but also an important and representative piano repertoire in the history of Spanish music. He absorbs artistic inspiration from the painting of Goye, and perfectly combines romantic style of 19th century with Spanish music's nationality together. This piano suite shows full-bodies national characteristic, special art glamour of Spanish piano music and reflects the real spirit of Spanish. Meanwhile, composer's particular style has been expressed. The paper discusses the following topics: at first, Spanish historical culture and its keyboard music has been simply introduced. Then, the paper analyses the suite's features and styles from the perspective of music theory. On the basis of the above, this paper does some initial research on re-creation of piano performance. At last, the paper makes primary analysis and comparison on the related performance editions.
