With the rising recognition of employee's psychological capital as a comp -etitive advantage in today's society,the thesis which is based on the Chinese context,aims to explore the dimensions of the psychological capital,and make verification.Based on the clarification of the research problem and its significance,the purpose of this research is followed.Two parts of research were conducted by the methods of theory foundation,semi-structure interview,survey and data analysis.The first Part aims to study the dimensions of psychological capital.The other part was conducted in the context of China to make verification.Research clearly shows that(1) psychological capital include five dimensions as followed,confidence and optimism,external central,tenacity,harmonious interpersonal relationships and internal control;And the psychological capital has good reliability and validity;(2) The differences of sex and position in psychological capital have reached a significant level;(3)Regression analysis showed that the position of employee's,business location and scale have some predictive power.On the basis of the discussion of the research results practical suggestions are promoted,as well as the limitations and the implications for future research.It is hoped that the thesis can contribute to the understanding of the psychological capital,and the verification of psychological capital theory in the context of China.It is also expected that this research can help to improve the management level and employee's performance of domestic corporations and perfect the theory of psychological capital.
