With increasingly attentions on issue of trust crisis in leadership, it is of greatimportance to have a close look into authentic leadership. We reviewed relatedliteratures about authentic leadership and found that most researchers have studied onthe positive results of authentic leadership such as high work performance, high workengagement and satisfactory job satisfaction; while with little attention on its negativeimpacts such as great work stresses, strong job burnout and turnover intention. As thefact that passive behaviors and attitudes of authentic leadership making a differenceon both enterprises and employees, we try to study the impact of authentic leadership,introducing the employees’ psychological capital as a mediator, and find therelationship between authentic leadership and employees’ job stresses.Data of authentic leadership was collected from judgments which subordinateshad on their supervisors. As a result, using perception of authentic leadership toreplace the authentic leadership in our research is more proper. We released270questionnaires and collected238valid questionnaires via internet with88.15%. Firstwe do common method biases, then we using SPSS18.0and AMOS20.0for dataanalysis and drawn the conclusions below:1. Perception of authentic leadership and Employees’ psychological capitaladversely impact on job stress of employees.2. Perception of authentic leadership affects employees’ psychological capitalpositively.3. Employees’ psychological capital is a full mediator in the relationshipbetween the perception of authentic leadership and employees’job stress.4. The distribution of the perception of authentic leadership on age and duration with current immediate supervisor are significant different. Moreover, education hasthe same effect on employees’psychological capital.
