Objectives:The direct impact on academic evaluation and employment after graduation of college students' exam score results in great exam stress.Since medical students undertake more study tasks and have longer study cycle, they are more anxious during exams. This study analyzed the general condition of test anxiety and the correlation with its influencing factors (motivation, learning objectives, and time management) through questionnaire survey,so as to provide some approaches to alleviate test anxiety of medical students in our school.Methods:1000 male and female students in Shanxi Medical University with different majors, ages, and origins are randomly chosen and surveyed on their motivations, learning objectives, time management,as well as test anxiety. The reliability and validity of the survey are evaluated by coefficienta and the use of a factor analysis.SPSS 13.0 is used for data-processing.the analysis of test anxiety and its related factors includes a general description, analysis of variance, correlation analysis and multiple linear regression and so on.Result:learning motivation, time management and study objectives at different majors, gender, academic performance has statistical significance;test anxiety in different sexes and majors has statistical significance.Test anxiety of the various dimensions was significantly and positively correlated;multiple regression analysis of study motivation and test anxiety showed that:the three types of motivation(being initiative, being forced, and learning objectives) are into the regression equation;the eight dimensions of the influence of objectives and time management on test anxiety are statistically significant. Conclusion:Learning motivation, learning objectives, time management are the influencing factors of test anxiety.Strong motivation to learn, unreasonable time distribution, inappropriate learning objectives may lead to the occurrence of test anxiety. This study would provide a basis to alleviate test anxiety of university students.
