This paper, taking the medium of instruction as entry point, has expounded the basic characteristics and requirements in the application of the medium of instruction which an eligible vocal music teacher should adopt. Audio Language and Silent Language commonly used in the Medium of Vocal Instruction have been collected, categorized and defined in the paper. Combining with analysis and comparison in large amounts of vocal teaching information, this paper has showed how to apply the medium of intruction under different teaching background. And the principle used in vocal teaching, as well as the reason for variation, has been concluded. This paper aims to arouse the vocal music education attach importance to medium of vocal instrucation, improve vocal teaching methods, and enhance the effect of vocal teaching, to better achieve the object of vocal teaching. Therefore, this papre has some practical significance in both vocal music teaching practice and vocal theoretical studies.
