In China's modern and contemporary history, Liang chi-chao is the most prestigious man who was one of the famous thinkers of the Enlightenment, political activists and encyclopedia-style academic masters popular both at home and abroad. Concerning to the ideology of Buddhism of Liang Chi-chao,the academic world give a high rating. His study of Buddhism focused on the period from the Reform Movement to the Revolution of 1911 and the period he came back from Europe to his death. Liang Chi-chao have a bold exploration of Buddhism in the period of the Reform Movement, which activated the dry national passion, opened the anatomy of the national character of intellectuals in modern times, and reshaped the modern moral precedent. It can be said that Liang Chi-chao constructed an indispensable part which led to change in a new generation of intellectuals.Liang Chi-chao was not thinking of building a system of Buddhism, the theory of Buddhism exists in the bulk of his articles。I first sort out liang chi-chao's five main articles of"the first philosopher in modern states","the shallow cast of psychology of Buddhism ","the theory review of Awakening of Mahayana Faith","the philosophy of Lao Zi" and "Buddha's era and the outline of the original Buddhist teaching rationale", and sort out their veins and distill the system of Buddhist philosophy from them.Liang Chi-chao's philosophy of Buddhism is composed of such epistemology as"the ontology of spiritualism in Triloka","the theory of Anatman","the theory of samsara of Karma and spirit athanasia",rationalism and intuitionism。In last part of the thesis, I reviewed the history of Buddhism Studies of Liang Chi-chao ,summed up the fundamental features of Buddhist philosophy, analyze the main characteristics of liang Chi-chao's Buddhist Studies in the different phases and elaborate the Buddhist philosophy study of Liang Qi-chao as a whole.
