Four Huang-lao Thought. "tube" Study

The Four chapters of Guan Zi refer to Xin Shu(part one,and part two),Bai Xin,and Nei Ye,and this concept is proposed by Guo Mo-ruo and Liu Jie.Although these four have different emphases,compare to other chapters of Guan Zi,it is clear that self-focus for the elucidation of Huang-Lao Taoism mature works.The theory of Tao, heart and essence of that in the history of ancient Chinese philosophy and ideas of great significance to the history.The school Guan Zi attributed to had been discussed a lot since ancient times and today.There are different theories,some scholars will go to the Legalists,some scholars for their naturalization of Taoism,as well as its classified as Eclectics.However,its ideological and theoretical foundation of the thrust of view,should be the axis of Taoism.And The Four chapters of Guan Zi is the representative works of Huang-Lao Taoism,so it has a very important position in Guan Zi.The theory of Huang-Lao Taoism is the theoretical foundation,and The Four chapters of Guan Zi has outlined the role of Taoist theory in Guan Zi.In terms of on their own they are also self-contained.Guan Zi for a profound insight into human nature and accuracy of analysis,that the human being has the natural and moral attributes,are not simply divided into good and evil.As a ruler,must follow the Natural Law,sympathetize people' needs,to govern their country;as a King to pay attention to the internal self-cultivation in order to meet the saint,use their power to become an emperor.The Four chapters of Guan Zi based on the foundation of Tao,as the health and country for the use,to form a complete system of philosophy.The system based on the theory of Tao,humanity and Jing Qi,under the premise of enlightenment of Tao,intended to repair calm,with a view to achieve"smart eyes and ears,tendons and bones strong letter","Broad-minded,high ambition"realm of life in the universe to achieve the saint,and then by the governing Heart to governing body,and then governing a country.In this way,use the tactic of follow the Natural Law,king doing nothing and government officials take positive actions"to govern the country.From the inside to outside,from the heart to people and the world,so let it form an unified harmony entity to achieve the"rule of saints."On this basis,to follow the Natural Law,sympathetize people' needs,point the ceremony and law used to educate and regulate the people,to the metaphysical Tao,and think Tao give birth to the ceremony and law,so find the metaphysical basis for them,and emphasized the ceremony,the Law should be put in to Tao.The Four chapters of Guan Zi put emphasize on the way to learn about the things,such as"follow the Natural Law,sympathetize people' needs","advance with the times",pursuit the unity of nature and human,which is the ultimate goal and highest requirements of Guan Zi to govern a country,so come to the conclusion of Natural Law is people' needs.
