| ZiSi is one of the most famous thinkers during the warring states period.He constructed his own system of philosophy based upon confucius'thoughts and formed socalled "ZiSi' Confucianism"which had great infulunce on future generation. Compared with the thougt of Confucius,ZiSi'system pays more attention on demenstration and metaphysics,Confucius seldom talked about nature and Tian Tao,but ZiSi declared that "Tian Tao is the same as nature",which make his systenm lay on the foundation of ontology.ZiSi raised confucianism on a higher level.The core of ZiSi' Confucianism is "constucting oneself",which open a new way to "internal saint".Owing to the lacks of ZiSi'works,the studies on ZiSi' Confucianism are very inadequate.These studies are always according to the text of Zhong Yong only and focus on textual reaseach or biography instead of the thoughts.The disclosing of more and more undergroud works widen the space for the investigations on Zi Si'thoughts.In this paper,we try to take our study from two directions which can be called vertical one and Horizontal one.The vertical one is to explore the status of ZiSi'system in Confucianism and the horizontal way is to investigate on the whole system of ZiSi'thoughts which include the theory of human nature,the theory of Personality,the state of life and the Doctrine of the Mean. |
