The art of Chinese Guqin Music occupies an important place in Chinese ancient culture for its long history, rich cultural connotations, and its unique musical system. There have been abundant literary articles and books on Qin music, studies of Qin tablature and its influence on schools Qin music are rather rare, however.Baiping Studio Qin Tablature, the earliest book of tablature by school of Fanchuan, in which the most famous and representative pieces of music are collected, is an irreplaceable and important literature helping to study Fanchuan school and has had profound influence on the development of modern Fanchuan school. By applying the methods of musicology, this thesis analyzes and dissects the origins of Qin tablature, the characteristics of Qin music, and the relations with the music pieces of the same name in Tianwen Pavilion Qin Tablature which came out afterwards. By elaborating the relations between Fanchuan School and Guangling School, the art style and innovation of Fanchuan School, this thesis represents the route of its development, and protrudes Baiping Studio Qin Tablature's historical place in Fanchuan Qin School even in Chinese Guqin art.
