Cangyuan Rock Paintings Of The Art Characteristics And Presentation

The thesis attempts to analyze the artistic features of Cangyuan rock art based on discussions of the images and themes of Cangyuan rock art.The discussion focuses on two aspects:the geographic cultural features and local culture characters.As a primitive art,the artistic features are based on their practical function,which contains the spirit of the art.The thesis mainly focuses on Big house fresco of Va ethnic group, which is a modern representation of Cangyuan rock art.The thesis is composed by four chapters.The preface is an introduction of present research,the background,object and significance of this thesis.Chapter one describes three general categories of Cangyuan rock art.Chapter two explores the image features of the rock art through discussions of creative impetus features of the images and cognitive structures.Chapter three discusses the originality of the artistic characters of the art.Chapter four discusses the modern inheritance of Cangyuan rock art in Big house fresco of Va ethnic group.The thesis uses theories of anthropology of art,combined with field work.
