Listening class is an important language skills training. Listening class plays an important role in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language (TCFL). Listening class is based on teaching materials, which is also the basis of all teaching activities.This paper is a contrastive study of the listening text and comprehensive course material in the initial stage of learning Chinese, especially compareing the vocabulary problem.The paper first provides an overview of listening class research, then makes the initial stage of the narrow definition, and points out that the initial stage of the teaching object, teaching characteristics and teaching requirements. And then it introduces the using institution of "Chinese Course" and "Chinese Listening Course". This paper will use the comparative study method, and draw the conclusion by comparing the integrated primary corpus of the"Chinese Course"vocabulary, Outline and the primary "Chinese Listening Course"corpus of the listening class vocabulary.
