The Chinese concurrent adverbs differ greatly from other adverbs. This paper mainly focuses on the Chinese concurrent adverbs and the corresponding issues. It is composed of five parts apart from the preface and the conclusion.Part one analyses the semantic features of the concurrent adverbs and then gives the definition and scope of them.Part two discusses the semantic features of the substantive which coexist with the concurrent adverbs according to the examination of the binding variables of the concurrent adverbs. We get the conclusion that the substantive words are either marked or unmarked in syntax, and bounded in semantics.Part three investigates the predicate. we began with the study of their position and distribution in the sentences. We study the sentence which include"一起""一齐""一块""一道""一并"or"一同"from sentential forms and syntax categories. Then we try to summarize their syntactic character. The predicate are mostly verbal phrases, and especially have the property of dynamic.Part four, we studied their co-occurrence and collocation with other words. According to the co-occurrence with other kinds of adverbs,we analyzed the rules of co-occurrence and the limiting factors.Part five analyses the inside differences and individual characteristics of the concurrent adverbs. It has made a special effort to compare the common points and differences between these six concurrent adverbs in the aspects of function and using method .And they have their individuality not only inunderlying meaning, but also in style. It has also discussed the individualities of this group of concurrent adverbs in both underlying meaning and style.
