Baoanzu folk literature is mainly about the spoken creation, an oral form of folk literature handed down and constantly revised with group efforts. Most of the Baoanzu literature is directly narrated, reflecting Baoanzu labor people's hard life, their wishes demands and their ideals. It is a reflection of Baoanzu people's life. This paper is divided into four chapters to discuss about Bonanza literature.Chapter one is an introduction, which introduce the meaningness of studying minority literature, leading to the importance of studying Baoanzu literature. The study of the minority folk literature can not only contribute to the nation's unity, but can also contribute to the development of minority culture., which can make the socialism culture prosperous. Besides,the study of the folk literature can not only have art value,but provide a lot of information about history, politics and religious as well.The second chapter is divided into three parts,which are mainly about Baoanzu's culture. The first part is about the origion of Baoanzu and Baoanzu's name. According to some experts' conclusion,it is generally considered that the origion of Baoanzu came from the mixture of several minority peoples,such as Zangzu, Huizu, Tuzuand semu people who originally believed in Islism. The second part is about Baoanzu's religion. All the Baoanzu people believe in Islism,for Baoanzu's ancient people were Muslism. Islism not only affect Baoanzu people's material life,but play an important role to their spirit. And the third part is an introduction of Baoanzu language and literature. Baoanzu language is Baoan accient,whose words are based on the Menggu, Zang, Han and Tu words and form it's own unique words during the long time mixture. Baoanzu. literature has foke literature and written literature. Folk literature has a great variety of many kinds, including tales, lengends, folk stories, and folk songs. Written literature is based on the traditional culture which are collected, editored and recreated. Baoanzu written literature includes poems, essays, novels, plays and film arts.Chapter three is devided into four parts to discuss Baoanzu folk literature. discuss about the definition and characteristic of folk literature, The first part introduce the defination, characteristic, and value of folk literature. The following two parts are about the value and position of minority folk literature. And the last part is about the present situation of Baoanzu literature. This part devide the literature into two periods from the middle period of 19th century.The fourth chaper, which also has four parts, is a centre part that deals with the Baoanzu literature styles respectively. The part of folk tale is through comparision with other nation's folk tales , so we can see the similarity of those tales;The part of the folk story is also through comparision with Hanzu's, so we can see the difference between them and can see the clear characteristic of Baoanzu's;The part of folk lengend is mainly about Baoan waist-sword which can date back to a long history, from which we can tell Baoanzu business awareness long before; The part of folk song is the most important in this chapter. By discussing and comparing "hua'er" origin,definition and characteristic, we see its language feature and its art style,which are different from the others'. Chapter five is about my two-time field investigation into Baoanzu. And I write down what I see and what I hear positively.
