Content: There are many reasons for the poets of the Tang Dynasty to accept Taoist thoughts and Taoism thoughts .To analyze deeply and to explore these reasons will help us have a deeper understanding of the style and features of the Tang Dynasty poems and of the intrinsic motivation of the Tang Dynasty poems created by the Tang Dynasty poets. We can consider the Tang Dynasty poets as a studying subject and regard Taoist thoughts and Taoism thoughts as an object to explore the close relationship between subject and object from the view of Reception Esthetics. It will be of great help for us to broaden our new scope of mind to study Tang Dynasty Literature.The article is divided into six chapters. Chapter one is the preface. This chapter is divided into four sections: Section I, to give a definition between Taoist thoughts and Taoism thoughts; Section II, to elaborate the basic theory - Reception Esthetics theory and to card the research condition using of this theory on classical literature; Section III, the poets of the Tang Dynasty have been classified: we divided the poets of the Tang Dynasty into literature poets, Taoist priest poets, Taoist nun poets, but to expound the acceptance of the rulers of the Tang Dynasty on Taoist thoughts and Taoism thoughts will be looked as a background; Section IV, to briefly discuss the significance of research on this article.Chapter two expounds the situation where the Tang Dynasty rulers accepted Taoist thoughts and Taoism thoughts. This chapter is divided into four sections and separately analyzes the reasons and the situations, where the Tang great-great grandfather and Tang Tai Song; Tang Gao Song and Wu Zetian; Tang Xuan Song and Tang Zhong Song and the late Tang rulers accepted Taoist thoughts and Taoism thoughts. Although some poems have also been preserved and they have reflected the tendency of Taoist thoughts and Taoism thoughts obviously, there are a few poems left .Due to this article length, we can not make the thorough discussion and merely take it as the basic political background of the Tang Dynasty poets accepting Taoist thoughts and Taoism thoughts.Chapter three, four and five separately analyzes and explores the state where the literature poets, Taoist priest poets, Taoist nun poets of the Tang Dynasty accepted the Taoist thoughts and Taoism thoughts. Each chapter is divided into three sections. First we briefly discuss; and then analyze the reasons; finally we select several representative poets to give a minute exposition.Chapter six is a summary. This is the conclusion of this article, in which we sum up the contribution of its making the Tang Dynasty poems prosper after the poets accepted the Taoist thoughts and Taoism thoughts. It is divided into five points: First, the marvelous imagination and language; Second, to broaden the range of subjects about the fairy poems; third, the flexible attitude about action or seclusion; fourth, the life-survival consciousness of running high; fifth, the daring explosion of the female inner world; Finally, to objectively evaluate the significance and the influence of the poets creating their works after they accepted the Taoist thoughts and Taoism thoughts.
