This article takes the Second Revolutionary Civil War period as the background, gives a preliminary statement about the vocational-technical education of the Chinese Soviet areas, and plans to divide into five chapters.The first chapter: The origin and the development about the vocational-technical education of the Chinese Soviet areas. An October Revolution artillery sound, has sent the Marxism-Leninism to us, also let us profited from the vocational-technical education development pattern of the former Soviet Union. The Communist Party of China appreciated the vocational-technical education very much and done lots of explorations and practice about it on their early time. All of these things have made a full preparation for the vocational-technical education of the Chinese Soviet areas. The foundation of the vocational-technical education was just based on the new democracy education theory and the actual situation of the Chinese Soviet areas, especially the vocational-technical education development pattern of the Soviet Union in their early years. Its process experienced the three stages.The second chapter: The main content about the vocational-technical education of the Chinese Soviet areas. It has a widespread range and covers almost all fields to fit the need of the Chinese Soviet areas'development. Such as: the military industry ,the agriculture, the communication, the medical treatment and nursing, the spinning, the bank, the tax affairs, the art, the normal school education and the short-term vocational middle schools and so on.The third chapter: The concrete implementation and historical functions about vocational-technical education of the Chinese Soviet areas. All the local and central government of the Chinese Soviet areas had established the administrable organizations to supervise the vocational-technical education. It can be divide two kinds: the specialized technical schools and the kinds of vocational schools. There are four aspects of its historical functions: the politic, the economy, the science and culture and the supports of the revolutionary war. The fourth chapter: The characteristics about vocational-technical education of the Chinese Soviet areas. There have the kinds of extremely bright characteristics in content and form: good for the moral education; suitable for the need of the revolutionary war; established each kind of the urgently needed specialties; based on the realities of the Chinese Soviet areas; pay more attentions on the teachers of the vocational-technical education; combined all the good conditions to promote the vocational-technical education.The fifth chapter: The historical experiences and the significances about the vocational-technical education of the Chinese Soviet areas. Actually speaking, the vocational-technical education of that time is established in the war environment and the poor regions; its main purpose is for the need of the revolutionary war and the constructions of the Chinese Soviet areas. So it was sure had its own disadvantages unavoidably, but it also had obtained the huge success in fact. We can learn much from its successful experiences to promote the development of the vocational-technical education in the modern times.
