In the modem research field of Mongolian language, the study of sentence structure and grammar transformation seems to be relatively weak comparing with other aspects of researches. This thesis will give a systemic analysis on the core structure of modern Mongolian simple sentences and the transformation methods of sentence structure.The present thesis consists of three parts including introduction, the main body part, and references. The introduction chapter introduces purpose and significance of the present topic, research methods and literature review of this research, etc. The first chapter discusses the concept of core structure, the structural characteristics and function of sentence transformation in terms of analyzing the relevant collected materials about explanations of relationship between sentence and constituents and then through comparison, gets a conclusion that the core structure of the modern Mongolian simple sentence is composed of subject and predicate as s-p structure or of subject, direct object and predicate as s-o-p structure. The second chapter makes a brief overview on the previous studies of the structural transformation of modern Mongolian sentences, and then systematically examines the transformation of sentence structure, which can be divided into intra-transformation and outra-transformation according to the previous researches.This thesis will analyze the transformation of modern Mongolian simple sentences from the perspective of descriptive study combining contrastive grammar.
