Constructing Mongolian Chinese Bilingual Treebank

Nowadays,tree bank construction has become one of essential parts of natural language processing.As an important language resource providing variety of knowledge to the natural language processing.Most of tree banks are Monolingual tree banks while bilingual tree banks are developing with varied application purpose.This paper selects word tag set and syntactic tag set,which are used in modern Mongolian phrase structure tree bank in Inner Mongolia University and in Northeastern University Natural Language Processing laboratory,as an annotation scheme,extracting relevant translation sentences in government literatures from Chinese to Mongolian,then tagging and correcting part of speech and syntactic structure with the aim of exploring and summarizing the tree bank construction of Mongolian and Chinese.Then,do the contrastive study on Mongolian and Chinese phrase structure.This paper can be divided into five parts,which are introduction,the first chapter,the second chapter,the third chapter and the conclusion.Introduction tells the significance of the selected topic,research theory method and steps.Discuss some relevant research surveys about the construction and processing of corpus and tree banks.The first chapter,introduce the source and processing steps of Mongolian and Chinese bilingual tree banks.Discuss the facing problems in the process of building the tree bank.The second chapter,introduce the main functions of relevant management software.The third chapter,do the contrastive study on Mongolian and Chinese phrase structure on the basis of bilingual tree banks.Conclusion,make a conclusion of the whole paper.
