The Mood Of The Painting Scenery And Its Value

Artistic conception, a very important factor of expression with the unique position in painting, holds the indispensable and essential role in any painting language. As one of the traditional western painting styles, scenic canvas pursuits the aesthetic sense of nature, life and reality and features the scientific strictness. Meanwhile, scenic canvas is a kind of art focusing on the artistic conception, which greatly evaluates the work quality.There are many researches and studies concerning artistic conception; however, only a handful of them are studying the artistic conception in scenic canvas. This paper, based on the mastered solid artistic theory, chooses the western scenic canvas as the study case and illustrates the origin and development of artistic conception with the analysis of artistic conception expression and components as well as the significance of artistic conception in the scenic canvas.This thesis is supported by plentiful examples and empowered by the solid artistic theory. It demonstrates that the artistic conception in western scenic canvas, based on the color, picture composition and combination of scenery and emotion, is enlightened in life and nature with the unity of reality, visibility and limit.
