This thesis has a general study on the diagram analysis of the magnificent landscape painting and the literary materials. By choosing the representative painters and their related works and materials and studying the development from Five Dynasties to Yuan dynasty, the thesis divides the process of style-changing into three parts:"All-round landscape painting"",poetic landscape painting"and"impressionistic landscape painting". In this process, landscape painting changed the appreciation of beauty from"philosophy-oriented""poetic-oriented"and"calligraphy-oriented".Correspondingly, the painting language has also been transformed from"emphasize on shape""emphasize on ink"to"emphasize on line".In studying on the part of Yuan dynasty painting, the author focuses on its contrast with North-song dynasty about the"shape"and"line". Furthermore, this part also points out the change of the relationship between shape and line in song and Yuan dynasties. The relationship also directly related to Zhaomengfu's theory tha"tcalligraphy and painting are the same in essence".In fact, Zhaomengfu provide a new methodology which called"paint the shape through lines"for the painters in Yuan dynasty. Therefore, the Yuan dynasty's painting style formed quickly, which enabled the initiative of painting to a deeper level. The subjective consciousness of painting increased, so as to complete the act of surpass the imitation of objective surface to super surface consciousness.
