Landscape painting started in the Wei and Jin dynasties,and became mature in the Song and Yuan dynasties.With the continuous exploration and summary of artists in various dynasties,the techniques of "water" in landscape painting in the Song and Yuan dynasties have been very rich.The Song Dynasty enjoyed social stability and political and economic prosperity.During this period,landscape works were of great variety and high quality.In the Yuan Dynasty,the social and political changes under the rule of foreign ethnic groups fundamentally affected the changes of landscape painting art.As an important artistic symbol in the picture,"water"has been constantly endowed with new cultural aesthetic characteristics by The Times.From the true landscape of "thousands of miles" by learning from nature in the Northern Song Dynasty to the dynamic landscape of "one corner and half side" in the Southern Song Dynasty,Then to the artistic landscape of "two sides of a river" and "sky between empty water" in the Yuan Dynasty,the element of "water" changed from reality to emptiness in the creation of environment with the development of landscape painting in the Song and Yuan Dynasties,from dense and complex to simple and ethereal.This paper takes the "water" in the Song and Yuan landscape paintings as an important research object,based on the application of research,respectively from the "water" in the Song and Yuan landscape painting techniques,morphological characteristics and artistic conception construction,as well as the author’s"landscape sound" series creation process and perception of three chapters respectively.The first chapter mainly analyzes the technical characteristics of "water" in the Song and Yuan dynasties.Firstly,it is the "water hook method" with various manifestations.The second is from line to surface,ink dripping "dyeing water";Finally,the method of "Empty water method" is expressed by "leaving blank" and "nothingness".Through the analysis of the techniques of "water" in Song and Yuan paintings,the cultural situation and aesthetic concept of that era are explored.The second chapter is divided into two sections to discuss the morphological characteristics and artistic conception construction of water in the Song and Yuan landscape paintings.Firstly,from the morphological characteristics,the atmosphere performance of "water" in the picture is analyzed from the "static" and "dynamic".Secondly.from the artistic conception construction,the important role played by "water" in the Song and Yuan landscape paintings is discussed dialectically from the two aspects of "virtual reality" and"dynamic and static combination".The third chapter,combined with the author’s creation,discusses the unique role of "water" in the picture,highlights the technical characteristics and aesthetic connotation of "water" in the Song and Yuan landscape painting from four sections:creation theme,material collection and conception,characteristics of painting language and perception of creation practice,and combines theory with practice through serial creation.Reveal the significance of "water" in the creation of landscape painting.
