Since Ming WanLi dynasties, groups of missionaries, traders and invaders came to China in the condition of the European geographical discovery. They came here with more advancing knowledge of Western geography than Chinese. The introduction of western geography of the Chinese community had a dramatic impact. The article defined the period from the Ming WanLi Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty firstly, and combined with the method of the historical geography to explore in this area .After the Ming and Qing Dynasties the introduction of the Western Geography impacted the Chinese science and technology, culture and the society in a long-term and great level. The Chinese Geography of the Ming and Qing Dynasties can not be separated from the introduction and impact of the Westen Geography. But we need pay attention to Chinese Geography which do not stop.My essay began with the impact and the exchange between them to explain from the time,way, all of those feature and impact. My essay wants to explore the significance and social value about Chinese thought, culure, science and technology, drawing the maps under the western geographers. At the same time, traditional Chinese geography has never been interrupted in the ancient development process times. it can be said that the system of Chinese Geography during all of our history is a vertical and continuous entirety. And therefore the study of Western geography spreading during Ming and Qing Dynasties in China has some significance about the system of Chinese historical geography .
