Developed countries obtained splendid accomplishments with its mature operation system in the past decades since the creative industry rose. How should developing countries react in such a completing circumstance ? The first step lies in the analysis on their own merits and demerits. While learning the advanced operational experience, they should also take the competitive edge through exploration to their own distinct cultural resources. Leading, planning and protection from the part of governments is also of significance. The bloom of creative industry in developing countries not only raises the national self-respect by a means of sustainable growth, but does its bits for the ultimate goal of harmonic development of mutual cultures for human race.This paper includes three chapters besides introduction and conclusion. Chapter I illustrates the operational advantages of developed countries. With analysis to two typical cases in developing countries, Chapter II attempts to summarize their successful path. The role of government in the growth of this rising industry is discussed in Chapter III. Followed is the specific significance of the cultural and creative industry in developing countries with some personal suggestions.
