The study based on cross research and paper investigated 335 senior middle school students by EMBU, GSES and MSSMHS to test their parenting styles, gengral self-efficacy and mental health. The main purpose of this study is to find the relationships among parenting styles, general self-efficacy and mental health of senoior middle students.Results:1.57% senior middle students have mental problems and 7.76% of them are serious. The mental health is significant differences in grade, family structure and between city and countryside.2. The parenting styles are significant difference in the students'gender, between city and countryside as well as only-one child or not.3. The gengral self-efficacy is significant difference in gender and grade.4. The parenting styles are significant difference between mental health group and mental problem group. The parents of mental health group take more positive parenting styles; however, the parents of mental problem group take more negative parenting styles.5. The positive parenting styles are negatively correlated with the score of mental health and the negative parenting styles are positively correlated with the score of mental health. The general self-efficacy is negatively correlated with the score of mental health.6. General self-efficacy is the mediating variable of father warmth and mental health as well as father warmth and anxiety. General self-efficacy is the mediating variable of mother warmth and mental health as well as mother warmth and depression.
